Penn will be making one more small batch of Baja Specials, hopefully to arrive at the Distributors around late June.
Whether or not another batch is ever done again will depend on how this one does.
Your custom handles are very cool, but the plans are for the current handles to remain the same, however the drag stars will be metal, and the gear box assembled in "forward postition".
Regarding handles, there should also be an accessory handle with the Baja Special knob and blank with holes drilled to retro-fit the many Penn 500, 140, 113h, etc. still in service.
