Help with my Progear Cs 551

Hope someone can help. Opened my Pro Gear cs551 to redo drags and berrings. Their is a small engagement issue. The gear engages but the dog or anti reverse has been worked so hard it moves and misses a little. Cant see it do it when I take it apart but it does it. I cut some thick plastic to shim it and althought it works it just is not all the time. Cant find parts. Is there some way to modify and fix because this is my favorite small Iron tossing reel. Getting parts from Progear is almost impossible. I will have a picture up later. I have heard of this kind of prob with trinidad and toprium. Help

i have about a dozen 501/551's and a half dozen spare gear sets. if it's a damaged pinion gear, remember that it is always best to replace the main and pinion gear at the same time. for parts, call randy at 626-369-5189. they DO have parts for these reels. alan
