    Hard Mono vs Flurocarbon ?

Does anyone have any insight as to the abrasion resistance of Hard Mono vs flurocarbon. I have noticed that my flurocarbon seems more supple than the old hard mono. If wear is the main concern is one better than the other?
    Thank You!

What are youfishing for? And flouro last a long time if you take care of it. If you step on it for make any type of nick in it, the flouro is done. The nick allows light to get into it and it lights up like a fiber obtic

Sorry Guys! I am questioning the abrasion factor for fishing tarpon under the bridges. I lose most of my fish due to wear through in the last two feet of leader. I use 50# & 80# flurocarbon at this time.
    Thanks again!
