Grouper catcher

Guys can you give me the best setup to catch grouper? I'm new at this and need a little help. I need line size, leader info and lures.

Thanks

Well, lets see. 6' leader of 40 - 50# fluorocarbon to a snelled or loop knotted 8/0 or larger circle hook and the needed weight to keep you verticle. A number of ways to rig but a simple surgeons loop to loop knotted circle should do you fine. Place the appropriate egg weight and add a fresh / frozen bait.

Ive caught alot of grouper on 26oz. canyon killer jigs from jerk that jig. Put some meat on and bottom bounce with a slow up and down with always staying in contact with the bottom.
