good rod match?

I need a rod for a shimano cardiff 400. I want a '7 foot heavy action 25 to 30 class. I will be fishing for stripers,catfish,drum,tautog,ect. Remember this reel has 11 pounds of drag and it holds 245 yards of 14lb it is a beefed up abu 6500. I am not looking to spend much over $100 and I am using braid. I like graphite.

I have a small convergence casting rod and it is GREAT it landed a 35 pound flathead no probe.
