Gimbal Add on

One of our jigging rods does not have a gimbal and we would like to add one to it. does anyone know if this is possible and how it could be accomplished? it is a shimano trevala.

yeah, its pretty eady to do.
you remove whatever is there.
down to the blank.
clean it up.
and fit your new gimbal.
build a arbor with tape.
glue new gimblal on.
for a composite get a GC22 or 25 fuji gimbal.

Do yourself a big favor and put aluminum gimbal on. Plastics just need to be replaced in a year or so if under pressure.
