My rattlesnake comment also applies to alligators. Anything that doesn't view me as a threat is fair game in my eyes.

Atleast you have those in Maryland to worry about right?
Well I was able to leave the reptiles alone for a bit and put together a few marbled spinning rods for somebody's special xmas gifts as I do each year. These dont bite to hard!

Brother, the only time we have any of them allygators and snakes is when some dumb ass flushes them down the toilet. Then again, they only last til the first frost then they are doornails. Thats why I live up here. I don't check my shoes before I put them on cause there aint nuttin that will look at me as dinner!!!

Yeah I was born and raised in upstate NY and know all about the cold and snow, and loved it.I recently watched some show on tv on alligators living in the sewers up there, and growing large, eating rats and raccoons,ect..I think they could live under there for many years...after all, they and the cockroach made it through the ice age,and most everything else didnt. The only thing I was a bit worried about up there were the bears, but now I hear the Wolves are back in great numbers, which is great to hear, but its something else to look over your shoulder for these days.
    Later Gator!
