Without a doubt the Seeker Herkules blanks are the best for this application. They were specially designed with this application in mind. I recommend the inshore lite.

G loomis or St Croix. They are two of my favorite. The proper rod depends on the style of fishing yo uare going to be doind. If you are going to be dropping heavy sinkes in deep water (80 feet or deeper) you might get a heavyer rod. If you are jigging bucktails in the intercoastal and shallow water you might want a lighter rod with a soft tip.
I agree pitch, thats what I love about the Hercules blanks. They have an incredibly sensitive tip, and can lift 40+ lbs from a deadlift!!!
Its the best of both worlds!!
