flex coat problem Need help. Drying motor quit

I flex coated a ror last night and sometime after I left the drying motor quit. As you can imagine the flex coat drips to one side. Has this ever happened to any one and if so is it fixable with out cutting everything off and starting over.

you can get a sharp blade and cut the hanging part off.
you can use light grit sandpaper to get even.
dont cut threads or sand threads.
    then refinish.

sometime it may be better to just start over.

That really sucks, your best bet is to go with sandpaper. Or you can also try wet sanding with laquer thinner. But be cheap & gentle with the thinner so you don't get any on the blank.

Thanks for the info. I cut the bigger parts off with a razor blade and have start sanding. I am going to call pacific bay and see if they will send me a new drying motor. I bet I have only flex coated 10 rods on this POS. I always thought it would suck if this happened. for years I used a battery powered one and was always scared. I changed the batteries all the time. I finally bought one I could plug into the wall for piece of mind. Go figure.
