    Flash For Parachute Jigs

I have been thinking about this for over a year....The idea was to add some kind of flash to the parachute and still keep the wide profile...I've tried a few different materials, tied in different directions, different amounts etc. What seems to be the best way ( so far..I haven't wet it yet) is to lay it straight back along the shad. We tried it under the hair, over the hair, more flash less hair and so on..This flash has a sticky end, comes on a roll, ( you have to seperate each section like skirts) and about 2" wide...so it takes 2 strips to look right...What do you think?...Looking for ideas...

    Every single one of 'em.

    Nice 'chute

    Hey Tolmaz,
That 'chute looks really nice. I'd like to see it on a blue and white 'chute too. That sparkle may just give a little more visibility in our dirtier water.
When you get it wet, see if you can get a picture or two in the water.
I'll look forward to hearing about your results.
What area of the Bay do you fish from?

This was the first time we tried it with just the flash...I swam good..but it just didn't look fat enough...We wanted to "bulk" it up.....Spring run we normally fish around Bloody Point, Mouth of Choptank and old gas bouy

Looks pretty good if you ask me. I fish around bloody point as well and I always seem to get more hits on the "flashier" shads. Did this one produce for you yet? It seems like a killer idea that should catch lots of fish!

Tight Lines and see ya on the water!
