fishing in OBX ???

I'm going down to North Carolina for a week starting 8/15. I'm going to bring my 24 Grady, and I hope to get into some great close to the gulf stream offshore action (weather permitting). I would like to troll and get into a few tuna, wahoo, dolphin, or what ever is available and wanting to play. I plan to troll ballies, feathers, spreader bars, and cedar plugs. Does any one have any experience with fishing in the area in my sized boat. I still don't know if I will get a slip for the week or just drop the boat in, when I can get out (weather). Any information would help. Thanks.

My first time offshore I was on a 20 foot walkaround. We went out of hatteras inlet hitting every other wave on the way out.
