    Slideshow...Check it out~Enjoy!http://www.sportfishermen.com/photos...hp/photo/24137

    I havn't yet decided on a finish yet,nor the guides to put on the rod.It's a Super Seeker SSCTSF55XXH 5'6" 60/100#.
Was really considering Winthrops and perhaps a full marbled finish in the Rattlesnake colors. Any idea's guys?

Thanks Zip! Good idea on the hook keepers!! lol

I cant imagine getting hit by one of these..never realized just how big those fangs are,and those things get ALOT bigger!!
Anyone out there ever get bit?
We have em here in Florida, but nothing like Texas.I hear they are everywhere and I was told of guys who change tires there that have gotten pricked by fangs stuck in tires they didnt see and the venom killed them days/weeks later! They run over the snakes all the time and that venom can last for days~weeks. This head was pro taxidermied, and glands were removed ect..so no worrys here..I had to confirm that with the taxidermist after I was told about the tires..lol!!

There was a rod just like this in High Point in February. You can see it in one of the photos in teh new Rodmaker MAgazine issue. I'm pretty sure it was PAt VInczant's rod that had teh snakehead.
