Ouch.![]()
kind of neat looking. that green one looks like it could hurt.
Dude I've said it before and I'll say it again- I love the creativity. That is some tight ass work.![]()
Thank you so much Shoe! A whole lotta time invested in these,,tough to work with to say the least.
The Lime green grip does look like it will get ya,but nope, its really soft and very flexable,,if you squeezed down on that part there, they would comply and lay down.Thats rod was requested that way..well kind of...I was working the material and seen that,,and said man, that would be totally wild if applied like that, but what about in and out of the rod holders,,so I emailed my client and told him I have a wild idea here and asked him if he would be putting this rod in a holder very often(9' Super Seeker) and he said nope, not at all Dave,do what you thinks best..so there she is.He hasnt seen it yet,,sent him a slideshow..cant wait to hear what he has to say about this one!
Thanks again guys and have a wonderful Easter.
Dave out...
AAAAHHHHH, the "fleshlight"!!! LOL. Billy yer killing me!!!!
I am totally amazed with the beauty of these rods that armbreaker needs a clearance section of his work. I can not believe that there is not a waiting line outside his shop to purchase these beauties.......
Between the marbling and the crocodile these rods just scream a talented rodbuilder.
Armbreaker are you using Rit Dye to get these stunning colors?
I went to a fly tying supply store last week and am going to one up armbreaker with some feathered grips...
Thanks a bunch.Well I have been quite busy and very steady, even in these bad economic times.I dont think I would be able to keep up if times were great again,or there would be a much longer wait for the rods.
Feather Grips..great idea! Can't wait to see those bad boys.I am considering a few special limited edition genuine Mink & Beaver for the ladies, since they repell water,,why not right!!!!
I have a few more idea's up my sleeve that might just blow these away, just havn't had the time yet,but when I do,I will be sure to post em up.
