    Where can i purchase carbon fiber drag washers for both spinning and casting reels of differant makes and models.

    Along with the two above mentioned sources for carbontex drag washers don't forget that the Penn HT100 washers are the same item. If you want to stay local, find a shop that repairs Penn reels and stocks a full selection of the HT100 washers.... Bring your old washers, match them up, and you're in business. Two things to remember, grease the new washers (Shimano or Cal's grease [Cals is cheaper...]), and match them up for thickness. Often you'll need one extra HT100 washer to complete a stack and bring it to the right height... Good luck, I've been doing this with Daiwa BG's, and other makes that don't come with decent washers now for some time - and it really works well.
