DO YOU OWN ACCURATE REELS , IF SO READ THIS.

HELLO EVERYONE, would like to talk to you about your accurate.

I live only a few miles from accurate production, and back in april i found out somthing new the hard way.

we went out fishing to catalina island, and ran into humbolt squids in the 20 to 40 lb range.
we,ll hav,n fun with them , i notice the accuknob has came off and fell on the deck. now i dont know if you guys know this but here goes.

1) check your accuknob, do you see a rubber o ring thats holding it in place.
2) if you do have a rubber o ring, that knob can easly be pulled off.
so , i drove down to accurate, and explained to them whats going on.
they took the reel in and replaced it with a metal c -clip like ring.

its has alot better hold to the knob, so check your out.

just hold on when they grab the bait.lol

they were up on the surface by the millions, chasing dines.

you would have to bring your catch in as quick as possible before they canabalize your catch.

it was a great sight to sea.

It is true, but it is a plastic clip versus metal as he states. Maybe you can post that and that they can contact us to get the new clip at no cost.

reel fishy, it is strange that they might have transfered over to plastic.
took another look at the reels i have , and yes they are metal.


they might have done somthing different from the last time i visited in april.
