Aloha Everyone,

I just wanted to take this time to pass on my condolences and heart felt sympathy to the whole Rizzuto Ohana, in the passing of their dearest loved one, Shirley Rizzuto, who passed away on Tuesday. I emailed Jim, yesterday to see how Shirley was doing and was notified of her passing just the day before, with her family at her side...

I think many of us who have grown up fishing either from shore or out in the open ocean, have benefited from Jim's books. Whether it was some type of rig to target certain species of fish or to simply tying a knot, we all learned a great deal from Jims knowledge. However, what we did with our catch is another story and Shirleys contribution with her recipe book "FISH WIFE" have also played a big part for both my wife and I. Still to this day, my wife and I flip through the pages of the "FISH WIFE" and can find many recipes that we have either tried or have still yet to. Shirely's contributions to the sport goes far beyond seasoning and baking of our catch, as she was Jim's right hand person in not only the sport of fishing but, in life too!

Jim, our hearts are broken here in Boise but, please do take care and may God bless the whole Rizzuto Ohana.

With Deepest Sympathy,
Allan and Gail Sato
