    Deep water Fluke rods ?

I have a 7ft. MH Tsunami classic, I love the fast action tip for fluke but haven't used it in the deeper waters where i might need 8 ounce's of lead or more.
I'm thinking of buying a couple more and the price for that nice rod is not bad, around 60.00 bucks !

What do you deep water fluke fisherman use ?
    Thanks, Paul

I built my own, but when picking blanks for the same application, I took a 10 oz sinker and a rubber band and held the sinker from the tip to check the action. You could do the same with a prebuilt rod.

Just remember - you break it, you bought it

My favorite all depth bottom Bouncer is a ST CROIX Avid Musky rod

Real light and when using braided line it is sooooo sensitive

rated 20 -50 i also use it for live baiting stripers

on the pricey side of your mentioned # ,,,,,,,,,,worth it in my eyes

They have some rated for less weight but i like the back bone when you want to get it done

This one is very good, and very inexpensive (it often even goes on sale for $19.99 plus s&h). It says its rated to 4 oz, but will handle alot more than that. I use it for deep water fluke, and bunker chunking for stripers. Have got stripers to 41# on it.

I have a Star handcrafted #S14/17HC spinner that I use for everything.
I even occasionally let a charter customer use it.I plan on getting a couple more maybe a little heavier. I've caught a wide variety of fish on it and I really like it. It carries a Quantum Cabo 60 PTS reel with #50 power pro and YO -Zuri topshot. The star rods cost alittle but they are worth the money if you plan on having it for a long while!
