    daiwa sealine 30 x sha-abu garcia 7000i

I would like to know would you think these reels would do for cobia, kingfish, and tarpon. I will be using braid and for kingfish do you think I would half to take the level wind off the 7000i for kingfish?

I am trying to get tackle for tarpon, catfish, cobia, kingfish, striper, and drum. Do you think it will do on a shimano taramer 30 class '7"6 or '8?

im guessing ur talkin about pin-rigging from piers up in VA (Seagull, etc etc)

yeah that rod should do fine, and the shv-30 might feel a little small when playing w/ a tarpon, big cobe or king, from the pier.

get the 50, or spend justttt a little extra $$ and get the SALTIST 50...you'll be set then.

I want to generalize my tackle down and spend less you see if I can use the same tackle for drum, catfish and striper as I can cobia king and tarpon I can save a lot of $$$$$. And I just half to have the right tackle or I just die a little inside you see I have to feel right using a sealine for catfish it's just me and I want 2 of the same reel. So you don't think the sealine is ok on the cobia and king at all I do still have a tld star to use for them.

I could just sell all my mid size tackle for drum, catfish, cobia, striper, tarpon, kingfish, ect. I have a tld star, shimano cardiff, and a daiwa sealine. What would you get some saltists.
