    Custom Rods

    I am new to this web sight & I hope to make a lot of friends here. I have been building custom fishing rods for over 54 years & I hope I can be of some help to some of you who are new to custom rod building. I am not trying to brag about some of the things I have accomplished over the years but I will say that if you want to see some of my work you can find it on rod makers web sight or if you have one of Gudebrods catalogs you can see some of my work there I have been on the front of there catalogs for the last 24 years. I would post pictures but I do not know how to post them on this sight.
    if you have any questions on custom rod building send me a message & I will try to answer it.

    Greetings Wayne!

    Wayne is one of the first guys to teach me about rod building back in the mid 90's. He shared a lot of good info back then and I thank you for it Wayne. He is one of the best rod builders I've ever seen, period....he does absolutely beautiful thread work, something I will never have the patience for. Glad to see you are still kicking it Wayne!

    Wayne is my rodbuilder of choice

    He is in Va Beach and seems to build all types of rods. He does not hurry the customer and helps them with the decisions they need to make.

    His only flaw is that he seems to keep 90 per cent of the rods he builds! God only knows how many he keeps with no interest in selling.

    Maybe Monday I will pick up my hot rod heavy popper!
