That's an awful strong statement on the custom rodbuilders page. Plus, I think you might just be a little biased. All of ours are made in the USA also.

Hey Tuna Slayer; I have used Kevin (flatliner) and am really happy, I just came back to him for more rods. Won't meet a nicer guy.

As to who "is the best" can't say without trying all of the custom builders, that would just be ignorant to say one is the best unless you have tried them all.

Paul just built the 2 black and silver rods for me. They are in the first 3 pics on his post above. They are nice heavy duty rods and he was really helpful when I was trying to decide what I really wanted in a rod. There are a ton of great rod builders on this site and most of them post up awesome pics of their work regularly. I really liked working with Paul at JPR rods and I will definately be a returning customer in the future!!! Good luck in your search!!!
