probably ok.
they have different levels,
compare parts used.
some pricing is more than mine.
For a sote bought rod they are a very good value. I fish a 7' ECSM 7012 12-30lb Crowdar Rod for Striped Bass in the north east. The rod has a nice feel and decent components. My Crowdar's get a lot of abuse from 20-30lb stripers which account for 60% of my overall striper catch, last season we caught over 400 in 20 trips. Have not had one component break yet. As Paul says, compare them to custom rods. The way to go is custom if you can swing the bill, they are often not far off in price and will use top quality components and will be built to suit your wants and needs with a blank you like as well as incorporating a custom design which looks great in the cockpit. I have 0 complaints about my Crowdar's, but if I were to do it all over again I would probably go with custom rods. I like the experience of customizing a rod to my likeing and doing it the right way, they last longer, are typically built better if you use a good builder and are very comparable to a mid-high end store bought rod and will outperform them.
it is a fact that a rod broken due to snagging a Mola will be replaced at no charge from Crowder...![]()
