CC guys/gals - foul weather gear and boots?

We are getting into the center console offshore thing this year from a floating condo. What are you CC guys wearing for "comfortable" boots and foul weather gear? Im thinking pvc is the only way to go for the gear but not sure on the footwear. Most rubber boots are freakin uncomfortable after a few hours.
    Thanks

I use Xtratuf boots with gel inserts, and they have been great. Gear wise all grundens hercules (bibs and jacket).

And a good winter hat is perfect for those colder mornings on the ride out

I love Cofish gear. It's extrememly durable, dry, and reasonably prices. I second the Xtratuf boots as well.

Great..thanks. Ill pick up a couple pairs of the xtratuffs..I see them on Ebay for a fair price.
Ive also got a set of Cabelas heavy duty pvc gear bib/jackt with the goretex elbows and knees. Ill see how well they hold up. You do sweat your ass off with pvc though.

do you buy them your actual size or go up a size for large socks?

or are they pretty warm in the winter with just normal socks and the insulated version?

    thanks

I buy my actual size and they fit fine with large socks or barefoot in summer.

just picked up a pair of Viking Bristol Bay jacket/bibs...nice and soft..pretty heavy though. They are much heavier than my Cabelas set.

Sea spray and rain are not the only elements to dress for. Wind is something to also consider. Depending how fast your boat is, the wind can be just as annoying. I wear the Clipper or Petrus Grundens sometimes just to make long runs, say to the Canyons or out East. The lighter PVC fabric allows for breathability during the warmer days. On hot days, I wear short and long sleeved shirts with some type of windstop outerwear. Shimano Evair Deck boots during the hot days of summer. They are low cut, light weight and have a great arch that make them comfortable.

heavy grade Grundens and XtraTuff boots with wool liners, lots of layers and winter hats with I'm Giant fishing guring Oct into Nov.
