I want to purchase some of the jigs but, I would like to get some feed back as to what size and color jigs you all are using for Tuna.

i am putting a order in now..i am getting a little of everything..but we will be using them for other jigging trips, and not just for tuna...remember different brands come in different shapes and sizes(lengths)..180g, 220g, 280g , and have different actions...
HEY DOG.....IT AIN'T SO MUCH THE COLOR THAT WORKS...(MY OPINION)........I THINK ITS THE ACTION

i have caught several different species on the butterfly jigs. I have had real good success with the pink but I agree I think it is more about the action.
We have found that the pink/silver color is the most popular, but from what I've heard, it's really the action that gets the fish. They have a new blue/pink in the 120/270 long that has been popular lately as well.

Jason this past season I remember you talking of a scale down starter set for the butterfly jigs did that idea ever materialize. I have several guys that would like to get a set-up and get going but the complete starter sets you have are a bit pricey for basic starters.
Wahoo - I think I have one of the Shimano videos on my desk or out in the warehouse...I'll check right now.
Cowboy - the jig pack is in the works. I'm working on getting a jig pack containing six rigged jigs in a jig tube. It's been in the works for quite some time and I can tell you that the price point will be extremely favorable.
Salty Dog - PM me your mailing address...I'll mail you out the DVD if I can find it tonight!
Jason
Found the DVD!!!!
Thanks Guys for the info.
