    Born yesterday..

As she was slowly churning yesterday and dryed last night comes another creation for fish to fight lol. Heres my latest creation, Its a 5' even med/hvy stand up fighter. The components are as listed , Calstar 6455 blank trimmed down, 5 Fuji SIC turbo guides, AFTCO bigfoot roller top sz 12 to accomodate wind-on leaders, 12" eva foregrip, 9" eva rear grip,
AMTAK calcutta gold/black realseat and graphite fuji gimbal. I did a blue/black/ marbled finish with little hints of white and gold inbetween the guides. She will make her debute this summer for the NJ shark tourney. Enjoy guys

You never know until you try! Still, I think it looks great- I've just started to mess around with the marbling myself and it's definitely a little tricky- until you've tried it I think it's hard to appreciate good work. Thanks again for sharing!

Thanks again Shoe, Marbling is a little tricky at first but the results are one of a kind. I just ordered more stuff from Mudhole.com to build me a 7 foot E-Glass stand up spinning rod with Fuji alconite guides. I should have the stuff this week and will post pics of my build in stages of the transformation.
