Im sure Accurate makes a great pliers as with their other products, but I cringe at the thought of them being dropped overboard with the price they costs. I use P-line ones, they are aluminum and great quality and only costs about $30.

Ten Beers,

They are aluminum as well. 27.00 dollars on ebay
comes with sheath and lanyard.
Thanks for the reply.
I agree, alot of money for the same thing with accurate.
I do like the reels.

I would have to go with the manley pliers as well. I use the larger red handled ones but as Mary said it depends on what your doing with them. I did have a pair of the Vanstals which were nice but I like the large flat surface area of the Manleys better.
I think the floating ones that Mary mentioned are X tools.

Out of saltwater use I would go with a quality (brand doesn't matter) needle nose pliers. Hands down I HAVE to have one with me all times. It'll grab a hook deep in the throat with authority, use it to adjust tackle, has a side cutter built in to cut line, and slide in the back pocket with ease for a place to put them quick. I started using them making tackle and they are just too handy not to have in every tackle box -- especially for about 7 bucks for a good one.
