i am looking to buy a couple reels soon and kinda up in the air on which to buy. so i ask....okuma titus gold 35 and 50
or the shimano tld 30 and 50. i don't really want to put the cash out for penn internations just yet. but i don't want to buy junk either. i am looking to pick up 2-50's and probally 4-30's. i have some custom rods just not the reels. so what do you think. and if ya know anyone selling anything please let me know or a nice spot for a good deal.

TLD's hands down especially since they have come out with the new and improved and cheaper to own ones. You will probably find out most of the guys on here rather own the TLD's than the internationals. MOST is key there.

Hey gettinwet, stay away from the okumas!

Definately go for the Tlds as you dont want to go for the gold.

Melton has the "older" Tlds on a great price now, its the perfect time to get them Great reels!

But if you think again, its definately better to spend a bit more and go for the Tiagras or Internationals!

As the other's have said, Melton's has a GREAT deal on the old TLDII's. You can't go wrong with them! (Also can't go wrong with the Tiagra's but that's another $150 or so per reel......WELL worth the investment though!!)

meltons has the tld 50lrs on sale for 329 and the 30 for 259 probally the best deal u will find anywhere
