    bad rod

    the ocean master OML255635 is the worts road i ever bought but the reel (OML-25B) is a very nice.
    this dolphin broke the rod.


    PD how can i repair the rod

    Did the reel seat break loose and spin or did the rod break between the second and third guides from the tip? Those rods have had problems ever since they came out. I work at the BPS in Hampton on Wednesday evenings and I spun 12 reel seats out of 30 rods in the store just to prove a point to the manager about 2 years ago.

    You are correct about the reels, the OLM 25 is (imo) the best reel bass pro makes. (Offshore Angler is BPS's saltwater label) Sorry to hear about the rod breaking. Like others have said, get a decent rod and strap that reel on it.

    2 part epoxy from the hardware store should be fine for that repair. If the reelseat spins, that will be a more "surgical" repair.
