I would say the SX lineup - they're 5:1, which I don't beleive is as fast as Shimano Torium's and Trinidads, but what the hell. I've heard a lot of good things about these lately. A guy I know just got a new one for use as a jigging setup with colored braid. Can't wait to see if it works out.

    SX

i use the SX for fishing striper, fluke and small bft. I loaded it with 300 yds of spectra, and absolutely love it. Much better than shitmano and made in the good ole USA.

As others suggested the SX. I have one and love it. I have used it for fluke, sea bass, blackfish and recently striped bass and had no problems bringing in bass up to 38 pounds. That reel even though is small is a work horse.
