anyone know the rating on this rod!??

SU 1445 FW. it is a fenwick 12' two piece.. thinking about buying two of them but can not find any info on them anywhere.

also harnells.. are they the same as hornell or not at all!?

Fenwick is history,probally because of the blank quality and they are no comparsion to Harnell.

fenwick is history!?!? i dont know about that.. and the comparison to harnell is not something i am looking for... i have fenwicks that are 15 years old and better than any pos lami i have set my hands on..

please elaborate with an opinion like that.. thanks

Well we all sure have our own opinions,so I will leave it at that.As far as Harnell / Hornell, I have not heard of Hornell,but perhaps you looked at a mis-spelling there and the rods are actually Harnell...that would be nice...lol

I have built a few rods on Fenwick blanks in the past. They are pretty tough but IMO no comparison to the lastest SEEKER or Calstar blanks.
