Hello Goody. My best friend is called Goody. His last name is Goodlander. I have a Abu 1750a and have no idea what the value is. I am currently watching one on ebay to see how much it goes for. Here is the link

I saw another and the opening bid was $50.00. They all look like new. I have had mine since the 60's. The reel spins free (disengaged from the crank) but there is no effective drag. Mine is like new and I have never used it. Sorry I can't be of better help.

Check the following link. If you pick this up quick enough, it is ebay listing for a 1750A that sold for $94.50. It sold Sept 7 and may not be up much longer.
