avet sx

Hey folks,

Just wondering on anyone's take of using a avet sx for togging, seabass and maybe a little livelining strippers. Thanks in advance, happy fishing.

alot of guys use them.
they are nice reels.

i prefer star drags for bottom fishing,
saltigas.

I use 2 of them for togging/sea bass. They are great! Perfect size for this type of fishing and small enough not to wear you out holding them all day. Definitely highly recommend, but don't bother with spending the extra money on a 2 speed sx. Doesn't seem to make a lot of sense to have a smaller reel like this that has 2 speeds.

Oh yeah, I wouldn't try using them for strippers, stripers yes, strippers no.
