First kayak fishing day.

My wife and I gave each other kayaks last week and this morning decided to break them in. We went for 3 hours, caught 5 redfish, kept one that went 4 1/2 pounds. (he became the star of a fried redfish and mustard green lunch).
What a blast, I got close enough to touch my rod tip to one that was tailing, and then got taken for a ride on a couple of the bigger ones. 'Course it had to looked like a three ring circus when i'm getting dragged back up the creek with this 8lb spinning outfit doubled over as i passed my wife going the opposite direction in a creek about 10 feet wide. We're hooked.
