Skiff Trip Day 1

Whats up? Today was our first day of fishing on our 6 day skiff, kayak, mother-ship trip. What a day it was!!! We started out at Sac reef, getting in a full day of fishing till your thumbs were raw! We had a great day of weather, and best of all fishing. The size of bass was outstanding, with most fish from 4 to 6 lbs, and quit a few bigger up to 8.5 lbs. Cory San den of MC swim baits is our charter master. He handed out goodie bags to everone, swimbaits, leadheads and best of all an 8 inch jerkbait that is the best!!! The best way to fish them was to hook them weedless, toss em on the kelp and start twiching em. The bass would fly out of the kelp to eat them!!!! We all got many bass this way, also on swimbaits and just about anything that we tossed. Headed south, till tomorrow the Q105 OUT!!!

Skiff Trip Day 2

Well today we were at an island off Baja with hopes of bettering yesterday. We were not disappointed!!!! The day started out with the guys in the kayaks getting in the water at first light, the skiffs right behind them. Right of the Bart we started hooking bass. We also had shots at yellow tail. This is a light load of anglers so the big boat was 2 passengers and the crew fishing!!! As close to a crew trip as you can get. The chiefs were on the rail all day long (they only left the rail to make us all a little fatter!!!) We are now headed south to look for some yellow tails, wish us luck! till tomorrow the crew of the Q105 OUT!!!
