Two to Eight Day Long Range Trips
These multi-day trips are scheduled year-round, January through December. Trips of this length will usually fish between 100 and 300 miles south of San Diego in the waters off Baja Mexico. These trips will take you to such areas as San Martin Island, Guadalupe Island, San Benito Island and Cedros Island. Expect to catch Albacore, Yellowfin, Bluefin, Bigeye and Skipjack Tuna, Yellowtail, Calico Bass and Rockfish.
Eight to Sixteen Day Long Range Trips Departing from San Diego
These multi-day trips are scheduled year-round, January through December. Trips of this length will usually fish between 300 and 1000 miles south of San Diego in Baja Mexico waters. These trips will take you to the Uncle Sam Bank, Alijos Rocks, the 23 Fathom Bank and the Thetis Bank. Expect to catch Albacore, Yellowfin, Bluefin and Bigeye Tuna, Wahoo, Dorado and Marlin. On the longer trips (13 to 16 days) you will fish the Revillagigedo Islands, where Yellowfin Tuna from 200 to 300 pounds and Wahoo up to 100 pounds are caught on a regular basis. This island chain includes Socorra, San Benedicto, Clarion Island and Roca Partida.
