Tues. September 22, 2009: The theme for this trip is without a doubt, Family.. We have three sets of father and son teams on board and one three generation team. What a special trip for all. There are also 7 people who have never been on a long range trip before. They have learned very quickly with the help of the crew and enjoyed a good day of Yellowtail fishing. There was also a handful of Yellowfin Tuna and a few Dorado to mix it up. Tomorrow we will be at Cedros to give the island a try for some Yellows and a nice night in the Lee. "The Intrepid Team"

Wed. September 23, 2009: We had an excellent day of Yellowtail fishing today! It was full speed fishing on the first school we found this morning. The Yellows were eating everything that hit the water and providing some very exciting action for us. Once we had close to our limits we made a move inshore to look for the mossbacks. We found them in the same place they were holding for us last week and everyone was able to land several of the big Yellows. The Homeguards wanted the mackerel fly-lined on 40-50lb mono in 30-40 feet of water. What fun!! The weather is perfect, with flat seas and sunny skies and smiles all around. At Noon we headed offshore in search of kelps and some Yellowfin Tuna to round out the catch. Wish us luck " The Intrepid Team"

Sun. September 27, 2009: We left yesterday with a great load of bait aboard and anxious Fisherman's Warehouse anglers are finally on their annual 6 day charter. A Big Thank You to our tackle rep's : Mark Haynes (Eagle Claw) for providing each angler with a selection of Laser Sharp Circle Hooks and Dale Hightower (Yozuri and Seaguar) for making sure we have Yozuri Hybrid Flurocarbon Line and Seaguar Flurocarbon Leader material for our anglers when the bite gets tough. In addition , John Bedwell is providing hats , 7 Strand crimping tools , Gamagatsu Live Bait hooks , Owner Ringed Mutu Circle hooks for each angler and bulk spools of P Line CXX line to use. After dinner a drawing was held and Antonio Lourenco from Half Moon Bay , Ca. was the lucky angler to win a Lamiglas Rod , rod cover and a Shimano Trynos 16 2 speed reel loaded with Yozuri Hybrid line. So with our tummies full from Chef Javiers dinner we are dreaming of the fun fishing in the days to come....PS...Uncle Rick says , "JoJo make sure you wish us Lots of Luck". "The Intrepid Team"
