Excel checks in on the first day of the Big Al's Tuna Tourney Trip

Justin Fleck called in to give us an update on their first day, he started off by mentioning that "there are some Purple Heart recipients on board" then he went on "we got down to the tuna grounds and we were fortunate enough to get on a school early and they bit good for us. We got off to a good start with the mid-grade fish around 25 lbs. mostly Yellowfin with a few Bluefin mixed in. Guys has a great time caught plenty of fish.

So we are moving on down today sliding down to see if we can get in on some Yellowtail action down there. Things are going good on the Excel, weather is nice, life is good."

Excel Report 9/5/2011

Justin Fleck called in to give a report on the Excel, "We had an excellent day yesterday Yellowtail fishing, which was Sunday. We made a tour of the Islands and we found good Yellowtail fishing just about everywhere we went. We had nice grade fish from 20 to 30 lbs. I think everybody got pretty much everything they wanted. The yoyo iron was definitely the hot ticket yesterday. It was just a fun day for everybody.

"Its Monday morning here, we are offshore at the tuna grounds looking for some Yellowfin tuna. We found a nice pocket of 73 degree water. Looking around we haven't found much yet, but we have high hopes. And the weather is nice. These guys are having a good time. The "Big Al Tuna Tourney" guys are downstairs.
