10 day on the Vagabond - Cow Town or Bust

Well I got back on 12-8 from a 10 day trip on the Vagabond out of San Diego. We fished south down the Baja Coast as far as Cabo area. We put multi fish over 200+ lbs. The Jackpot was caught by John and weight in at 297lb. 2nd was caught byKurt at 285lb. and 3rd was Mike with 246lbs. The boat total was 390 Yellowfins - 190 Yellowtails - 3 Dodo - one Wahoo..

7 fish over 200, 11 over 100, and lots of fish in the 40 to 80lb range.

Nice report.. Those are great pictures of the action. I see Kurt has not changed in the last four years and Tim looks like he has put on some weight since the last time I saw him two years ago.

I have been working on a video from the trip. With the holidays and work it has been low on my list of things to do. But I did find time this weekend to work on it. I hope by next week to have it ready to post. This will be my first posting with video as well a still pictures. I hope you all will enjoy and thanks for waiting so long. The biggest one took 6 guys to bring it over the rail. I did not get it on video, but one of the cows was hitting the deck with his tail and made the whole boat ring like a bell. I will be posting more, I will try to upload them here to the site..

looks like a blast im only 15 but im planning on going on one of these trips when im 17-18 are they worth it
