Raccoon Boat club catfish tounry

Well fished on saturday in a catfish tounry up home with a buddy from college. We started off with a shot gun start from raccoon creek and it was on, we took 2nd in the start and made our 7 mile run to our hole.

We got set up and in the first 10 mins we put a 10 and a 9.5 in the boat. This was 8 am and by 8;40 we were running to the scales due to our biggest fish not wanting to stay alive . I ended up catching a 14.10 lb catfish and it was going to be in the ruuings for the lunker so I didn't want to loose it.

Ever year before 32-34 lbs has won the tourny so we knew we were in the money. Now usually we would fish until 2 and them run in but when your biggest fish is going to die you got to suck it up and hope for the best.

We weighted in at 9 a.m with 32.12 and our biggest being 14.10. I've never seen the top 4 places over 30 lbs but it happened the other day. First place was 36 lbs second was 34lb 3rd was 33 lbs and we had 32.12. We walked away with 100$ in our pocket and also got beat out of the lunker which was 940$.
