Peacock Bass Fishing August 14th

Its been a month since ive last reported. I didnt catch anything larger than a 4 (17.5 inches long) pounder the past three weeks. The numbers have been about average. Catching 4-6 per day (up to 3 hours fishing)

Weston has been on fire for me. With very good numbers. Sizes arent too shabby either. 1-2.5 pndrs are keeping me quite happy.

The bite at Dusk has been SICK!
You can work a 200yrd long shore and not catch anything all afternoon. and then at about 20 mins b4 dark, they begin their ascents from the deep and destroy anything in their paths!

Thats basically been the story. I catch all my fish 20 mins b4 dark. Mornings are the same as usual.

Your best bet:

- Fish 20 mins b4 dusk.
- The full moon triggers the fish into a spawning session. Ive noticed nesting numbers are up to 500% higher than usual the week after the full moon. For example the full moon in July was the 7th. That means around the 12th-14th numbers will increase with the nestings.
