hey guys, thinking about putting together a video of one of my haunts here in my area if anybody is interested in seeing this let me know. i will have to bring the little boat back from morehead to film it because i have stopped running these catfish trips for people. on an average night will boat about 3-5 fish above 40 lbs and lots in the 15 to 30 range. live bait on a local lake here for flathead catfish at night time while anchored. is anybody interested. it will mor than likely be Sea Dragass, i mean Draggin as my cohort in this adventure. how about a count on this, is anybody interested.
alrigh, just gotta wait for jim to get thru captains school, then it should be late enough that the hickory shad are in the shallows. these fish will be caught on medium action rods, carolina rigs with j-hooks, 17 pound main line, and large shad about 10" or bream or a 3# carp for the big boys. the season for this is close, but not here yet.
i have heard that you northern guys can't catch your own and rely on us southern guys to catch'em for ya'. maybe this is how the civil war got started, we got tired of catching fish for you and we refused to do it one time too many. "Fate denied us victory but deemed us glorious immortality".
john, since you only weigh about 45 pounds (but you are taller than all the other preschoolers) you sure you wanna try to fight a catfish that outweighs you?
hahha oh well i'm a bully in school i take all the other kids toys and won't let them play with them lol nice talking to you last night i'll get ahold of you when i'm down your next of the woods
yeah john, call me if we don't meet up. let me know if you need to use the little boat it is on the island and is ready to go. it's fueled, batteries charged, good music in the cd player.
