    NC Falls Lake Crappie

Took my 3 year old son out yesterday to Falls Lake to do some bank fishing and caught about 2 doz. crappie for three hours of fishing. You can tell they are getting ready to get on the beds, because they were eating everything we threw out, live and dead bait. Great day for both of us, the only problem is I forgot the camera, which I never do, but he is still talking about it so that's all that matters.

Fishnut that's great to hear that you caught lots of them. I know that they need to be kept busy and crappies are a great way to do that. And the fact that he is still talking about it means that he'll want to go again. Way to go.

Good job Fishnut - any day you can take a kid fishin is a blessing.

I live pretty near the 751 bridge at Jordan and the crappies are getting cranked up over here too - I see the boat lights at night.
