Blydenburgh Lake, LI NY

Took my son out yesterday. Nice 100 acre lake on LI where they rent alum. rowboats. Had 12 nice largemouths (1lb-2.5lbs) a huge sunny and 3 nice size perch. Anyone looking for a nice day in the LI area should give this place a try.

Yeah , they actually have a campground there too, It's a Suffolk County Park

It is a really nice setup. Real easy to get to also.

glad someone is catching something over there. it seems like when the lily pads disappeared years ago the fish left too. I was there today and had no luck. what were you guys using?

Most were caught on 4" senkos (wacky) to the outside edge. A few came on a small worm. Once I got away from the slime grass and found some milfoil, we found the fish.
