Now thats what im talkin about, we dont get blues up here and the flatheads are eating themselves out of house and home...but thats on nice fish there.
I would love to take someone, anyone, to where we fish and watch them reach up in some of them holes there. I would really like to see what all gets pulled out. It would be a hoot. Seriously who want to go. I don't know a thing about it other than what I have read and seen in tv programs. I am always looking at the holes and such while we fish and always wonder what is in them. And would someone really reach up in there and pull out a BIG OLE catfish. We did one day find a log with two catfish in it. We could see them through a knot hole. GOt the idea to put the net over the opening and run them out. What we didn't notice was the third hole high in the air. Well to make a short story shorter, the two fish went flying out the third hole high into the air. It was a blast. We laughed so hard. Now that would have been a GOOD vid.....
Wahoo you should have know him 10 years ago. Yall could have cleaned out the bars......

and stake them down with rebar on flats in our lakes. The season is march through may and they are going in the boxes to spawn. I've stuck my arms in a few logs and under some ledges but I prefer the boxes. Its easier to corner them and get 'em to bite your hand. We have never had a snake or a turtle in the boxes and thats another plus. It's as a friend of mine puts it, "like pickin' apples"Quin has 190 pieces on lake washington alone

You better believe it would be a hoot. Those fools that go noodling are crazy! I spoke in depth with a couple good ole boys that do that stuff this summer. One of em still had fresh scratches all up his forearm. DID YOU KNOW THOSE GUYS WAIT FOR THE FISH TO BITE THIER ARM TO PULL THEM OUT. Picture swimming down underwater and sticking your arm up into a hole and wiggling your fingers around waiting for whatever is in there. FORGET IT! NOT ME! My luck there would be a Snapping Turtle about thirty pounds in there, or maybe even a Gator. No thanks.
I wish I could have seen your fish shooting up out of that log! Too funny.
And yes, Beagleman looks like he could wreck somebody. I think I'd rather play on the freeway blindfolded then try my luck with him in a bar after a budwiser or ten.

DAMN!!! Not interested in that or anything biting my arm but nice catch fo sho!
Just to clarify: This catfish was caught with rod and reel...
