    Bass, Crappie, Blue Gill

Nice afternoon for freshwater, my son got out half a day friday to start Spring Break. We went to a local campground lake to see if we could catch a few, didn't know if they were on the bed or not with this crazy weather coming thru.. We had an awsome day, caught 16 bass, 20+ bream and a few nice crappie. The largest of the bass was 24 inches good enough for a release citation. A couple of the bass had a strange shape, they had a hump in there back. If anybody has any input on these strange fish I would really appreciate it. We were only using lures and the bass hit close to the bank on spinners, my son used one lure (he does not want me to tell anybody what it was) but on this one lure he caught bluegill, crappie, and bass.. He was wore out with all the pullage. I attached a pic of the strange bass along with the highlights.

Perty fish there Larry. Judging from the pics, I think I can guess the lure. I think I know the lake too. Those heads look wierd.
