12/27 Peacocks and BIG Largemouth

Woke up at 6:30AM and went to the canal with Troy(thesnake) and Jake. We caught these first 2 little ones and a couple more that Jake and I caught. Lost 3 small bass. Then we headed over to the lake and got a bunch there. I hooked up with a nice peacock then Troy hooks up with a HUGE bass. Double hook up on Peacock and Largemouth. Picture was taken bad so it cut off the head of the largemouth without noticing. Then we caught a few more and left. OK day after all while everything bad that could possibly happen to us from HUGE knots in our lines to when we see a nice fish the rods all wrapped up in the tip.

On with a nice Peacock that ended up getting off

Stradic Power!!!

Nice Peacocks.

Are you using the same lure for the largemouths and Peacocks?

Very nice peacocks! Your fishing spots (canal and lake) look great also

Do you keep or release the fish?

Keep posting your reports, Jrod, I enjoy them

Awesome fish. Keep them pics coming. I also would like to see the lure. Is it a Rapala?
