Sorry there are not any pictures because we were starving when we got home and I quickly cleaned them and on the grill they went...it was a fish smorgasboard with some grilled zucchini and yellow squash... |

Sounds like a great day in the surf,well done nice report.
Can you please tell me what you guys call a sand shark,im from the UK and we have mini sharks ie,smoothounds. is a sand shark a mini species if not what sizes do they grow to. many thanks and tightlines mike |

I'm not sure thats the proper name for them...all the ones I have caught are between 1' to 2 1/2' long...mouth full of little razors and sand colored...they do fight good on light tackle though so I don't mind catching them every now and then...
