We met tred 25 years ago at a Thousand club meeting in Barnegat NJ I believe it was. He was one of the most captivating speakers I have ever heard. He can really capture and hold your attention. It would be a good thing for the site if he came back and ran this forum.

He's alive and well!

We're thankful to get Tred back out to Oregon again this year to help with the www.oregontunaclassic.org! We're filming another tuna show focusing on casting to surface feeders with coffee grinders and jigging iron.

Followed by an Elk hunt in our coast range...one of the few places you can kill a tuna and an Elk in the same day!

Tred...we appreciate all you're doing for us!

Tred great motivation. Keepin it simple and bringin the 11 year old up the old fashion way...no spinning wing decoys: Yet!
Heard you suffered a spinal stroke in the back of August 2009 issue of Sport Fishing. Wishing you well...we'll keep up the fight for our rights!
