Thanks

Just a quick note.

Thank you everyone for welcoming me to Sportfishermen.com.

I will try to be worthy of your kind comments. Know in advance, however, that on the hot issues of hunting and fishing, it doesn't take much time to get the blood boiling. To me though, this is healthy; and it makes Sportfishermen.com what it is today.

Thanks again everybody.

Till Next Tide,

Captain Tred Barta

P.S. What the hell has this world come to? Eight people in a row saying something good about Tred Barta.

Let me take a deep breath. Can this actually be true? It's certainly an IGFA World Record. So I don't believe I'm dreaming, I'm framing this page.

Hey Peter thanks for your post.

I certainly am an expert on props using catepillar power. I am not as familiar using comings power. Please call Pete Gillan of Rampage Yaughts. Send me a private message and I'll give you his number. I think he can help you.

Catch 'em up.

Tred.

Hey Marty thanks for your post.

You're right my friend. It all started at your office; my first attempt at the internet. Now, since everybody knows who Marty is, and by the way, I consider him a dear friend and honorable man, this is a good time to thank everyone at Sportfishermen.com and Marty for raising $120,000 on a Sportfishermen.com auction for the Barta Boys and Girls Club Billfish Tournament. If you don't feel good about raising money for underpriveliged kids, then you just don't know what it feels like to feel good.

Thanks Everybody,

Tred
