Cool concept. I didn't know this existed. Should be a platform of some good info and thoughts.

Hey fishpicker, haven't seen you online in a while. I like your approach here and think it will be very informative. I suspect we'll disagree on some things, but we may have even more in common. The discussion, and sometimes debate, will be in a good spirit.

Very cool concept here Marty. I'm looking forward to learning a lot here.

I agree that there needs to be a bridge to cross the gap between comm. and rec. fishermen.

Here's to open minds and keeping things professional. If any site can handle something like this, it's SFC!

Good to see you around picker, and it will be a great addition to sfc....there are lots of fine people in this world that are trying to eek out a living by fishing....unfortunatly there are just as many trying to rob us all of that oppertunity, and you call it down the line and dont sugar coat it which is what we all need to be informed about. One of these days ill get to meet the man in the blue boat and the other characters down at oghna head quarters. Keep us informed pick.

Have always agreed to support the commercial guys whenever given a chance. Good to see they have a voice on this site. I look forward to the info we can all benefit from.

Welcome back - your input will be appreciated. Many of the issues are shared both Comm and Rec, so it will be good to get your views.

Flounder

When commercial fishing for flounder how do you sort thru the "shorts"? What is the legal size to keep? What is the mortality rate on "short fish and by-catch?
Thanks for the offer/platform

John

And how about the dog fish?
