As my big hearted brother has been heard to say----- IT’S TIME TO ROCK and ROLL PEOPLE.

That’s right, it’s that time of year--- The annual Sportfishermen.com Boys & Girl Club auctions held in conjunction with the Barta Boys & Girls Club Bill Fish Tournament.

Each year, this is the absolute best couple of weeks on this site--- Caring, giving, big hearted fishing professionals and enthusiests helping our fellow kids that are less fortunate than our own.
For the newcomers here, this is our 5th year for this charity fundraiser and we are now working on our second hundred thousand dollars in donations and contributions provided to the Boy’s & Girls Club. That’s right, SPORTFISHERMEN on the internet have contributed right at $100,000 in four years to the kids—we are now working on the second.
Stay tuned and read along in this forum guys and gals--- as this is always a fun filled and exciting time of year when the best of all of us comes shining through.

So what do we have lined up this year?
As always, we will conduct a series of auctions. Each auction will have its own thread with a sticky. The rules are simple--- BIDS LOTS OF MONEY--- 100% of your donations go to the Boy’s and Girls Club.

FISH WITH TRED BARTA ON The DELTA DAWN!!!!!.
We will auction individual spots to offshore fish aboard the World Famous Delta Dawn owned and Captained by Pete Manual for 2 days in July out of Morehead City. One day will be with Pete at the Helm fishing for White & Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, and of course the ever present Mahi of summer. Day 2 will be a repeat but Capt. Tred Barta will join you in the cockpit.
This pairing up of Pete Manual and Tred Barta has never been offer to the Public and is the opportunity of a life time to learn and fish with these two aboard the Rocketship Island Boat Works Delta Dawn
This one won’t go cheap boys and girls, but excellence and once in a lifetime shot never are.
Dates for this trip are July 14 and 15 ( July 16 is a rain date)

FISH THE BARTA TOURNAMENT WITH WAHOONBOX ON THE DIAMOND GIRL
That’s Right, this auction is for spots to fish the Barta Boy’s & Girls Club Tournament with Marty Hiatt (Wahoonbox) as your mate aboard the unbelievably plush--- 61’ Spencer--- DIAMOND GIRL.
This is your chance to fish a major NC Governors Cup tournament with the BOX--- you got the nads?
The Diamond Girls is perhaps the nicest sport fishing boat on the Crystal Coast. As in typical Wahoonbox fashion, you will be in the action in the pit during this two day tournament--- Can the Box Deliver for the Kids?------ Marty was the mate on the winning boat for this tournament’s inaugural event in 2004.
The winning bids will include entry in the tournament and other perks to be announced in this auction thread.

Oh yea, there’s more---- We will also conduct auctions for inshore trips, and several guided hunts.
Auctions are scheduled to begin tomorrow (June 11) or Thursday and will end on June 23 (Monday) at 10:00pm EDT.

Glenn, same as the last few years.Hunting trip for 2 people to include one nights lodging and guided duck hunt! Of course on currituck sound and staying in Stewarts Hunting lodge.....bring own beer ..... for the lodge not hunt
